Today KS1 took part in the Green Santa project. Green Santa is the brother of Santa and his wish is to make the planet a better place for everyone. The children thought carefully about what they could wish for to help make the world a better place for all. We thought about small changes we could make at school and much bigger changes we would like the government to make. Take a look at some of our green wishes and check out the Green Santa website for more information!

WOW!!! Our harvest collection was 185.29kg!!! That’s the equivalent weight to a motor bike or large male gorilla 🦍
St Anne's have entered a competition run by Bristol Water with over 100 different schools taking part. Our task was to think carefully about the importance of water and why and how we should be saving water. Each school was asked to use their creative skills to decorate a Water Butt. KS1 children loved decorating ours with flowers and raindrops to remind people of how water is important in nature. Bristol Water will choose their favorite design and award the winning school with a prize!
A HUGE THANK YOU for the amazing harvest food collection for the Trussell Trust. It has been delivered to Kate at the East Bristol food bank and she was DELIGHTED (via pick up truck, as we had so much!) Kate will weigh the food to see how many families we have helped. A truly wonderful achievement so, thank you, thank you, thank you!!
